Cowin Slot Availability Notifier
Motivation
Got vaccinated today and posted a story with #VaccinationDone✅.
The reply I got the most was “Bhai, slot nhi mil raha 😥” (Bro, unable to get any slot).
I was also lucky to get a slot and as there’s no fixed time when the website updates for new slots. I guess I was on the right spot at the right time.
So I decided to do something about this.

About the Project
Cowin’s website had public API which made this project rather simple. Keep calling the API in regular interval and check if a desirable slot is available, If no then calling continues, If yes then I used this result and combined this with the Telegram’s Bot API and boom💥 we have a functioning bot which will notify you as soon as vaccination slot for your area and age group becomes available.
